In Gentes the players guide their people through the upps and downs of history, trying to obtain a permanent place in the annals of time. They have to choose the best path while optimizing their use of time. In order to win, the players need to harness the capabilities of individuals from all classes of society. A clever timing mechanism requires a multitude of different tactical decisions from the players.
