When Yuuta Konno draws a picture for Mother's Day in kindergarten, everything seems normal at first. His drawing shows his mother Naomi, himself, and the home where they live together. But a strange detail immediately catches the eye: while the figures are depicted cheerfully and colorfully, their apartment has been completely painted gray for unknown reasons.
