Collecting Anime Figures: Welcome to the Controlled Loss of Shelf Space
It usually starts off quite innocently. After all, an anime figure of your favorite character can’t hurt. Then a second character joins the collection because the first one “looks so lonely otherwise.” After that, of course, you need the rest of the group. And before you know it, you’re Googling for a new display case in the middle of the night. Welcome to the world of collecting. At Merchfox, you’ll find anime collectible figures, manga figures, PVC figures, and anime statues in a variety of sizes, price ranges, and styles—from small chibi and mini figures to Nendoroids, Look Up figures, and prize figures, all the way up to Pop Up Parade, Ichibansho, and larger PVC statues. Our selection features series and characters from a wide variety of anime and manga worlds side by side. More peacefully than in their respective stories—most of the time, anyway.
But which anime figure actually fits into your collection? If you like to display characters in different ways, articulated figures or Nendoroids with interchangeable parts are exciting options. PVC statues and classic anime collectible figures, on the other hand, focus more on a fixed pose, intricate details, and a representation that’s as true to the character as possible. Smaller figures look great on a desk or shelf, while larger anime statues make a pretty unmistakable statement: Yes, this character is important. No, the plant isn’t getting that spot back. That’s why, especially for beginners, it’s worth paying attention not only to the series but also to the figure’s size, scale, manufacturer, material, and type—that way, when you unbox it, you’ll get exactly what you imagined.
Whether you’re looking to buy a specific anime figure, searching for a gift for an anime or manga fan, or want to add just that one character to your existing collection: Browse through our figures and discover new additions for your shelves and display cases. And if you were just planning to browse, we take no responsibility for any sudden lack of space.
We sell anime figures. No extra square meters.
The Internet is nice—but our brick-and-mortar store is better.
Sure, the online store is growing—a little bit every day. But while we’re still adding items one by one there, the real magic has long been happening right here—in our store. Among shelves full of comics, figures, and stories just waiting to be discovered.
Many of our newest treasures aren’t even online yet. Why? Because we’d rather chat with you, offer advice, and share a laugh—instead of just typing in product numbers.
So if you can’t wait until everything is available in the store, you’ll “unfortunately” have to stop by. 😉
At the Merchfox store in Asten, you’ll find the full selection, including all the latest releases—and that special feeling that no click in the world can replace.
Some new treasures make their way onto our shelves faster than they do online. While images, descriptions, and categories are still being added to our website, some new arrivals have long been on display in the store, waiting to be discovered. Amid the comics, figurines, and fresh shipments, it sometimes feels like a little treasure trove—and that’s exactly why it’s often worth stopping by in person sooner.
Because that’s where Merchfox was born—amidst real shelves, conversations, recommendations, and that special moment when someone just wanted to “take a quick look”… only to walk out with a stack of favorite finds. The internet can do a lot. But a screen can hardly replace the feeling of browsing through a real nerd’s paradise.
Yes, please—absolutely! Some of the products on our shelves today are there because someone once asked, “Can you get this?”
That’s exactly how new ideas and new product lines sometimes come about—and sometimes, little gems. If you’re looking for something, just ask.
We like side quests like this. 😉
At Merchfox, things are always changing—both online and in-store. New shipments arrive, fresh treasures make their way onto the shelves, items are added to the inventory, and sometimes things pop up that no one could have anticipated just yesterday. Those who check in often are usually the first to discover what’s new.
