Honeko Akabane's Bodyguard - Starter Pack (Volumes 1–2)

A totally normal school year? Yeah, right! Welcome to the class with a murder contract!

Homework, tests, annoying teachers, and the usual dramas of everyday school life—as a student, you already have enough problems. But what if, all of a sudden, a whole horde of hitmen is after your classmate?

In Honeko Akabane’s Bodyguard, Masamitsu Nigatsu transforms ordinary high school life into an explosive adventure full of wild fights, absurd situations, surprising secrets, and plenty of humor.

With the Starter Pack, which includes Volumes 1 and 2, you’ll get the perfect introduction to this action-packed manga series, where it’s students versus the yakuza—and survival is at the top of the schedule!

Protect Honeko. At any cost. And don’t give anything away!

Arakuni Ibuki, a student in Class 3D at Sousouji High School, expects a lot—but certainly not that one day he’ll receive a life-threatening assignment from a gangster boss.

Because his classmate Honeko Akabane is in mortal danger.

Several hitmen are after her, and apparently there are people who would do anything to ensure that Honeko doesn’t survive her final year of high school.

Of all people, it’s now up to Arakuni to make sure that doesn’t happen.

At first, his mission sounds simple: protect Honeko and make sure she graduates alive.

There’s just one small catch, though.

Under no circumstances must Honeko find out that she’s in any danger at all!

So while she’s supposed to continue living as normal a school life as possible, Arakuni has to fend off assassins behind the scenes, defuse dangerous situations, and somehow prevent his secret mission from being exposed.

Easier said than done when the enemies aren’t your typical schoolyard bullies, but professional killers.

And as if that weren’t chaotic enough, the notorious Class 3D also harbors a secret that Arakuni is initially unaware of.

Suddenly, nothing is what it seems.

One thing is certain, though: This school year is definitely not going to be boring!

Here’s what you can expect:

• Two manga volumes in the starter pack: Includes the complete individual volumes 1 and 2 of Honeko Akabane’s Bodyguard.
• Action meets high school comedy: A fast-paced mix of dangerous fights, crazy school life, and wonderfully absurd situations.
• A reluctant bodyguard: Arakuni Ibuki must protect his classmate without her finding out about the threat.
• Students vs. Hitmen: Professional assassins, criminal schemes, and plenty of trouble ensure plenty of suspense.
• A class full of secrets: There’s more to the seemingly ordinary Class 3D than meets the eye.
• Humor, heart, and a touch of romance: Alongside explosive action, interpersonal relationships and emotional moments take center stage.
• By Masamitsu Nigatsu: A fast-paced manga series that combines action, comedy, and surprising twists.
• Perfect for getting started: With the first two volumes, you can dive right into the story.

Bad grades are suddenly the least of your problems!

Honeko Akabane’s Bodyguard takes the classic high school manga, mixes in a healthy dose of yakuza action, and then cranks the madness up a notch.

Amid secret missions, dangerous enemies, and the everyday struggles of growing up, a story unfolds that’s as thrilling as it is entertaining.

In particular, the combination of fast-paced fights, offbeat humor, unexpected secrets, and likable characters makes the series a delight for anyone who likes things a little more turbulent.

The Honeko Akabane’s Bodyguard Starter Pack is ideal for fans of *Assassination Classroom*, *Kaguya-sama: Love is War*, and action-packed manga with elements of comedy and romance.

So, pack your backpack, check your schedule, and keep your eyes peeled at all times.

Because in this class, it’s not the next exam that determines whether you’ll pass the school year—but whether you’ll even survive it!
