Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
THE SEARCH promises to resolve the cliffhanger that fans of the series have been eagerly awaiting since it ended! The new comic trilogy picks up right where THE PROMISE left off. This time, however, the focus isn’t on Aang and his closest friends, but on the royal family of the Fire Nation. The story centers on siblings Zuko and Azula as they investigate the mystery surrounding their mother…
A must-read for every AVATAR fan from the creative team that has already proven with *The Promise* that the comics are every bit as suspenseful and profound as the TV series. Gene Luen Yang is once again in charge of the story’s progression and knows exactly what fans want. The Japanese studio Gurihiru, consisting of the two artists Kawano and Sasaki, is also illustrating the new volumes and once again manages to skillfully bring the famous AVATAR look to life on paper.
So dress cool this summer—your favorite firebenders are going to really heat things up for you!
