Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
She was a princess. Then they took her kingdom, her family, and her people from her. But there was one thing they couldn’t take from her: the memory of who was responsible.
Evita was once the princess of the Kingdom of Batalia. But when the neighboring Kingdom of Hari invaded her homeland, her former life ended in a gruesome bloodbath. Her family and her people were slaughtered—Evita herself was among the few who managed to escape.
Years later, nothing remains of the royal chambers. Evita now lives in a brothel, far removed from the life that was once meant for her. But behind her new existence still lies the former princess of Batalia—and she has neither forgotten nor forgiven.
Of all people, one of her best clients is an heir to the throne of the hated Kingdom of Hari. As a result, Evita suddenly finds herself closer to the people responsible for the downfall of her homeland than she could ever have imagined.
And a woman who has already had everything taken from her may not have much left to lose.
