This new Carcassonne BigBox combines the 2001 Game of the Year and 11 expansions—the perfect starter set for Carcassonne fans and anyone who wants to discover the vast variety of this best-selling game. You can mix and match all the expansions in new ways time and time again.
The base game includes everything you need for a quick game of Carcassonne. Square tiles are used to build a landscape featuring towns and monasteries, roads, and fields, which grows larger with each turn. You deploy your followers as knights, monks, travelers, or farmers and expand your influence across the regions to score as many points as possible. Lucky is the player who still has followers (meeples) left during the most intense phases of the game.
