Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
THE CITY OF THE DARKEST VILLAINS
The first crossover that changed the DC Universe forever and set the standard for all comic book events! The Anti-Monitor’s attack brings together the heroes of all Earths, and not all worlds—and not all heroes—will survive the battle!
World after world is being wiped out as a wave of dark energy sweeps through the multiverse. Entire realities are being erased—along with their various parallel Earths and the superheroes who have protected these worlds until now!
Heroes and villains from various universes and eras finally gather on the satellite of the mysterious Monitor, who summoned them to forge an alliance against doom—and to battle an overwhelming foe that threatens to wipe out all existence! This greatest of all battles will claim many lives; heroes will die—but in the end, a glorious new beginning awaits!
CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS was a groundbreaking event in comic book history and, at the same time, the first publisher-wide crossover that actually delivered on its promise of lasting change. This Deluxe Edition brings back the entire 12-part saga by comic book icons Marv Wolfman and George Pérez, with every page carefully restored and meticulously recolored. In addition, this edition includes, for the first time in German, the 100-page sequel *THE HISTORY OF THE DC UNIVERSE* by the same creative team, as well as a wealth of bonus material.
