Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
What defines a hero? Is it epic battles against seemingly insurmountable dangers, or the will to repeatedly defy the most adverse circumstances and rise stronger from the ashes? Marvel’s pantheon is rich with larger-than-life heroes. But no one has gone through hell as often over the years as Daredevil.
Frank Miller. Ann Nocenti. Kevin Smith. Brian Michael Bendis. Ed Brubaker. Mark Waid. A veritable flood of the most visionary writers of their generation has put the Man Without Fear through the wringer in unforgettable ways. A curse for any successor. Yet the series always came back with a bang.
At the end of 2015, the House of Ideas entrusted the prestigious title to an up-and-coming talent who was more predestined for the adventures of the blind lawyer than anyone before.
Charles Soule not only writes comics and novels, but he is also a practicing attorney. For three years, this workaholic put all his legal expertise to use. He took the costumed daredevil from the skyscraper-lined streets of Manhattan to the U.S. Supreme Court and all the way to the New York City mayor’s office.
The result: a drama that is as gripping as it is shocking, following in the best tradition of its predecessors. Matt Murdock returns to Hell’s Kitchen as an assistant district attorney. While training a young hero named Blindspot, he hatches a plan to rid his city of criminals once and for all. But the worst of them all is reaching for power. And when Wilson Fisk becomes mayor, Matt is caught in a vortex from which there is no escape. But somehow he must bring down the Kingpin—even if it costs him his life.
Over 1,200 monumental pages!
