Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Sometimes it’s not so easy to get close to someone. Especially when you still have to figure out how to best understand each other—and what your own feelings actually mean.
Ever since their chance encounter on a rainy evening, Kanon can’t get Saki out of her head. What started as just a brief, wordless encounter is slowly developing into a special bond between two girls whose worlds couldn’t be more different.
Kanon is hard of hearing and has learned to cope with the challenges of her daily life in her own way. Saki, on the other hand, wants to get to know her better without being intrusive or unintentionally crossing boundaries.
But that’s easier said than done.
Because the more time the two spend together, the clearer it becomes that mutual understanding goes far beyond spoken words. Small gestures, cautious approaches, and seemingly insignificant moments suddenly take on a whole new meaning.
At the same time, Saki must learn to see Kanon not just through the lens of her hearing loss, but as the person she truly is—with her own desires, insecurities, and feelings.
And as their bond slowly grows, a question begins to weigh increasingly on Saki’s mind: Is what she feels for Kanon really just friendship?
*The Moon on a Rainy Night 02* continues this sensitive girls-love story and tells, with great sensitivity, of closeness, communication, and the cautious discovery of one’s own feelings.
