Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
As we all know, the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach. At least, that’s what Kanon seems to firmly believe. And if Saki just happens to love cream puffs, then it’s time to bake. How hard can it be?
Kanon wants to get to know Saki even better and do something really special for her. To that end, she’s set her sights on something that might not sound all that complicated at first glance: Together with Ayano, she wants to make cream puffs!
After all, these sweet treats are among Saki’s favorite foods. And what could be nicer than making someone happy with something homemade?
So while Kanon takes on a new challenge in the kitchen, Saki is preoccupied with a completely different question.
Her piano recital is getting closer and closer, and of course she’d love to invite Kanon. But the more she thinks about it, the more uncertain she becomes.
Is it even a good idea to invite a girl with hearing loss to a concert? Would Kanon be happy about it, or might the invitation possibly hurt her feelings?
Saki wants to be considerate of Kanon’s needs, but she realizes how difficult it can sometimes be to distinguish between well-meaning care and unintentional patronizing.
And as both girls try to grow closer to one another in their own unique ways, it becomes clear once again that the most beautiful gestures don’t always require grand words.
*The Moon on a Rainy Night 08* tells a story with great warmth and sensitivity about mutual consideration, personal insecurities, and the desire to bring joy to someone special. Amid sweet cream puffs and the sounds of a piano, the tender girls’ love story of Saki and Kanon continues to unfold.
