Every eight years, the fantastic Hex-and-Licht Fair comes to our world, delighting one settlement after another. The owners, Mr. Hex and Mr. Licht, are masters of thrilling performances. But there’s more to this magical spectacle than meets the eye!
The fair is a gateway to a fantastical Feywild realm unlike anything the material plane has to offer. But time has not been kind to this realm, and dark days lie ahead unless someone thwarts the evil plans of the Hourglass Circle.
The wilderness beyond the Witchlight transports adventurers from the Witchlight Fair to Prismeer, a realm of joy in the Feywild. Suitable for characters levels 1 through 8. This book includes a poster map showing the fair on one side and Prismeer on the other.
- Explore the realm of the fairies in the first official D&D adventure set primarily in the Feywild.
- The adventure begins in a campaign world of the game master’s choosing. The Witchlight Fair, through which the characters enter the Feywild, can be easily incorporated into any campaign world.
- Two new character backgrounds: Feylost (for characters who come from the Feywild) and Hexenlicht Helper (for characters who work at the Hexenlicht Fair).
- Two new races: fairies and Harengon, a race of humanoid rabbits.
- All encounters in the adventure include a non-combat option that allows players to navigate the adventure through thoughtful decision-making and role-playing.
- Classic D&D characters from the 1980s are returning—including War Duke, Strongheart, and Kelek.
