GunSlinger Spawn 9: Plague Means Pest, Part 2

A gunslinger with no home. A past that’s catching up with him. And a decision that could change everything.

Over the course of his life, Gunslinger Spawn has learned one thing: If you don’t let anyone get too close, you have less to lose. Relationships are complicated, emotions make you vulnerable, and problems can often be solved much faster with two revolvers.

At least, that’s been his preferred philosophy on life so far.

In Gunslinger Spawn 9, however, the tough-as-nails Hellspawn is confronted with a situation that can’t be resolved with just a few well-aimed shots. Someone from his past has returned—and suddenly Gunslinger faces a decision that could change his entire future.

Or, to be more precise: his past.

After all, the gunslinger is still a stranger in the present. His hope of one day returning to his own time could be shattered for good by the decision he must make.

But perhaps returning home is no longer the only thing at stake.

As Gunslinger tries to find his place in a world where he doesn’t really belong, that world is changing him in inexplicable ways. His once-decaying body is beginning to transform. What at first seems like an unexpected development raises unsettling questions about his true nature and his future fate.

What happens to a Hellspawn whose body suddenly behaves differently than it should? And what remains of a man when even his own existence is no longer the same?

Here’s what awaits you:

• Volume 9 of the dark Spawn spin-off series: The story of the time-traveling gunslinger continues.

Some demons you can shoot. Others you carry around with you.

Gunslinger Spawn 9 reveals an unusually personal side of the infamous gunslinger. Caught between old ties, new changes, and an uncertain future, he must ask himself whether his past is truly still the place he wants to return to.

An exciting chapter for all fans of the Spawn universe who appreciate their antihero not only for his guns but also for his increasingly complex backstory.

Because sometimes the hardest decision isn’t who to fight—but where you truly belong.
