Welcome to Jujutsu Kaisen, where teenagers battle deadly curses, teachers interpret their educational responsibilities in highly creative ways, and a certain Satoru Gojo has apparently decided that his students’ mental resilience would make for an interesting long-term experiment.
Right in the middle of it all: Megumi Fushiguro. Calm, serious, intelligent, and blessed with a facial expression that constantly fluctuates between “I’m not in the mood for this nonsense” and “Why am I surrounded by idiots anyway?”
Which is entirely understandable, given Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo.
But behind Megumi’s reserved facade lies an exceptionally loyal young man with a strong sense of justice. He doesn’t necessarily want to save everyone, but above all to protect those people who, in his opinion, deserve a second chance. He apparently considers the fact that he regularly puts his own life on the line for this to be an acceptable part of his training.
His Ten Shadows technique allows him to summon powerful shikigami—including his faithful divine dogs. And when the situation becomes particularly hopeless, Megumi has another habit: he suspiciously often begins by bringing his hands together to perform a certain summoning ritual.
