Still, Yuji doesn’t lose his sense of humor. He laughs, goofs around with Nobara, regularly pushes Megumi to the brink of a nervous breakdown, and lets Gojo talk him into doing things that would probably cause any responsible teacher to hand in their resignation on the spot.
But behind his sunny disposition lies a young man struggling with guilt, loss, and a responsibility that no one his age should have to bear. And that’s exactly what makes Yuji so special: he remains compassionate, even as his world grows increasingly cruel.
