Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
500 push-ups a day, questionable hospital food, and regular checkups during which no one seems willing to explain exactly what is being tested. Welcome to Nito’s everyday life. Other teenagers deal with school stress. Nito has a much bigger problem.
Since birth, Nito has lived in a mysterious hospital where food is administered through tubes, people die regularly, and strange physical tests are part of everyday life. To finally achieve better results, he trains like a man possessed and does 500 push-ups every day. The results? Modest. While his friends seem to pass the tests effortlessly, Nito consistently fails. Unfortunately, the successful candidates are beginning to change in increasingly disturbing ways. So maybe failing isn’t the worst thing after all.
Because outside this disturbing facility, a bitter war is raging between humanity and a superior species. And Nito, of all people, could play a decisive role in ending this conflict.
Lili-Men Volume 01 combines visually stunning action, grotesque horror, and a healthy dose of dark humor into an extraordinary sci-fi manga, where every answer is followed by three new nightmares.
The most important lesson? If your friends suddenly start physically transforming after a medical exam, maybe you should stop trying so hard to get better test results.
And 500 push-ups a day is already enough. At some point, you’re allowed to just quit.
