Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Volume 1 of 21
Two young women, the same name—and two lives that could hardly be more different. Nana Komatsu She sets off for Tokyo to finally start over after turbulent relationships and a few setbacks. She dreams of love, happiness, and an exciting life in the big city—even if her heart keeps getting in the way.
Completely different Nana Osaki: Confident, uncompromising, and with punk rock in her blood. As a singer, she wants to leave the underground scene behind and make her big breakthrough in Tokyo. Her goal is a career as a musician—and she’s ready to give it her all to achieve it.
When the two Nanas meet by chance, their two worlds initially collide. But it is precisely their differences that become the foundation of an extraordinary friendship. Together, they experience love and heartbreak, successes and disappointments, music, relationships, and all the small and big decisions that come with growing up.
NANA by Ai Yazawa, the creator of Paradise Kiss, blends romance, drama, friendship, and the Japanese music and punk scenes into an emotional manga series featuring extraordinary characters and plenty of big-city flair.
The opening chapter of this modern shojo classic about two women named Nana, their dreams in Tokyo, and a friendship that will change both of their lives forever.
