Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
This comic series by star writer Brian K. Vaughan and artist Fiona Staples swept up just about every major comic book award there is in 2013 and 2014: the Eisner Award, the Harvey Award, the Hugo Award… Is there really anything left to say about this modern classic of comic book literature?
Yes, absolutely! Because even in this corner of the universe, the show must go on! Alana, in particular, knows this all too well—or, depending on the role she’s assigned as the newcomer to the theater troupe, she might whisper, scream, or rap. Marko isn’t exactly thrilled about his beloved’s job, since Alana is performing in front of an audience of millions, thereby constantly jeopardizing the young family’s hiding place on the planet Gardenia. He’s also not happy about his role as a stay-at-home dad: He loves Hazel more than anything, but their little girl can be quite a handful now that she’s learned to walk and talk …
But Alana and Marko know that you need money to live, even if it puts their relationship to the test. And in the Kingdom of Robots, it’s no different: there’s the aristocratic elite, and then there are those who have to clean up after the privileged. Dengo is one of them, but he has very different plans for his future… and access to the royal palace—and thus to the family’s youngest scion, the newborn child of Robot IV!
This anthology contains U.S. issues 19–24.
