Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Mouse vs. Nature in the Ultimate Battle for Survival
After a final, exceptionally desperate attempt to find food for the colony goes horribly wrong, two house mice find themselves far from home, facing a wilderness full of ravenous wolves, hungry snakes, and vicious birds of prey. When the two are separated in the forest, they must quickly find each other again and return to the mouse nest before all is lost.
For another small, unassuming mouse, the cold forests really don’t seem like the right place, but many other creatures are managing to survive in the wilderness. Feral mice fiercely guard their territory against strangers. A beaver colony from the north sets out to dam the river and create a huge lake, putting the valley in danger. A mysterious trio of foxes is secretly hatching plans whose true motives are known only to themselves. In addition, a stranger arrives from the east, following rumors of a long-lost guardian who is said to have once protected the forest. But no one knows if this guardian is even still alive …
In the second volume of his action-packed mouse saga, Mac Smith once again delivers an inimitable adventure whose story and artwork will leave readers breathless.
