Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Volume 5 of 7
In a world that has moved on…
This volume brings together five self-contained stories from Roland Deschain’s life that continue the tale of his search for Walter O’Dim, the Man in Black, and add interesting details to the story. In *The Waystation*, we see Roland accompanied by the boy Jake Chambers, who is willing to sacrifice himself for the Gunslinger’s quest. He also encounters the Oracle, a demon who foretells Roland’s future. The second story (*The Man in Black*) recounts events surrounding the beginning of Roland’s relentless search for the Man in Black from the novels *Dead* and *Black*.
This is followed by Scheemie’s story, told from the perspective of a young prison escapee in the Endworld. Unholy Ground is a ghost story about an adventure Roland Deschain has with his first Ka-Tet. And So Fell Lord Perth is Stephen King’s Mid-World version of David and Goliath.
These little stories from Mittwelt are valuable pieces of the mosaic that complete the overall picture of the Gunslinger.
Stephen King’s magnum opus, the eight-volume novel series about The Dark Tower, is presented here as a graphic novel. This is Volume 5 of the seven-part deluxe series of THE DARK TOWER.
