The Witcher Dice Set: Leshen - The Shapeshifter

The Witcher Dice Set: Leshen - The Shapeshifter

At the heart of the forest dwells a mighty and fearsome guardian, born of darkness and primeval nature. He possesses the power to change his form and face at will and to track down intruders and prey with ease, whether by lurking in the shadows or concealing his intentions. It is believed that this is nature’s way of protecting the forest and the animals within it from the threat posed by humanity’s destructive expansion into the wilderness. With a horned skull for a head and bark-like skin covering his long limbs, Leshen roams the forests with unparalleled ferocity.

This dice set pays homage to the mysterious Leshen, a wild, territorial, and cunning creature that dwells in the primeval forests. Inspired by this enigmatic and powerful creature, we present the Witcher Dice Set: Leshen—The Shapeshifter. This set includes 7 multi-sided dice and a metal coin. Each die has a shimmering gray finish and features brown engravings. The highest faces and the reverse side of the coin depict the Leshen’s eerie, horned skull, accompanied by a flock of crows. The obverse of the coin and the highest face of the D20 are adorned with crows perched on a dead branch, waiting for their master.

The Witcher is more than just a profession or a single character. The Witcher is an entire universe brought to life by the stories of Andrzej Sapkowski, where decisions and motives are never simply black and white. Vibrant, full of unique charm, rich in unusual phenomena, and described with linguistic artistry, it later became the basis for video games, comics, tabletop role-playing games, as well as movies and TV series. If you’re familiar with The Witcher from any of these sources, you know just how captivating this universe is. For us—people who grew up with the stories from the world of The Witcher—it is an honor to design dice based on these famous and beloved characters. We took the time to carefully consider all the possibilities for designs and color schemes—and the result is now evident in the final product. These dice were born out of passion, and we’re proud that the person who receives them will appreciate them just as much as we do… That person is you…
