Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Soldiers of False Gods—these warriors were once human, but through forbidden practices (of dark magic), they were transformed into artificially created mythical creatures—super warriors with powers equal to those of the gods. In the ancient days of war, humans were forced to resort to this means. The plan succeeded, for the troops of artificial saints ushered the world into an era of peace. They were the heroes of the land, and everywhere people worshipped them as deities.
But the years passed, and with them came oblivion: Today, they are known only as beasts. Nancy Charl Bancroft is a young girl whose father was one of these now-feared creatures. She pursues the Beast Hunter Hank, who killed her father back then after the war. After a long search, she finds him and now seeks revenge. Her attempt fails, but in the process she learns that Hank himself was once one of the False Saints and was even a commander of those forces. Why did Hank become a Beast Hunter, and why is he destroying his former comrades one by one?
Why did Charl kill his father? What has become of the gods of old, who once walked the earth as humans? Determined to uncover the truth, the girl has made up her mind: she will accompany Hank on his journey.
