Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
In the wake of the dramatic events of Venom War, a new era dawns—and with it, the burning question: Who is the new Venom? None other than top writer Al Ewing (Venom: Legacy of the King) and exceptional artist Carlos Gomez (Spider-Man) bring you the gripping opening chapter of this saga.
As Madame Masque’s trial unfolds, the gallery fills with some real heavyweights: Mayor Luke Cage, veteran reporter Robbie Robertson, and hero’s friend Rick Jones. But suddenly, chaos breaks out when the ruthless leader of the AIM rogue scientists strikes. A new Venom stands in his way—but the host’s identity remains a mystery. Is it Cage? Jones? Robertson? Or even Masque herself?
In the background, former Venom Dylan Brock, who has found refuge with Mary Jane Watson, is desperately searching for answers. Because the truth could change everything.
The beginning of a new Venom era—and with this variant cover, you’re holding a true collector’s item in your hands! Limited to just 333 copies worldwide, making it a highlight for any Marvel collection.
