Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG The Infinite Forbidden Booster Pack (GER)
“EXODIA, DESTROY!”
The two words that made “Yu-Gi-Oh!” a global sensation!
"The Infinite Forbidden" was recently announced at the "Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL MONSTERS The Legend of Duelist QUARTER CENTURY" event at the Tokyo Dome in Japan, marking a return to the game's roots and introducing a new strategy featuring the unstoppable Exodia!
If you reveal all 5 parts of Exodia from your hand or deck, or have them on the field, you can Summon a brand-new “Exodia” Fusion Monster! It cannot be destroyed by card effects and can add your current Life Points to its ATK every turn! This boost never expires, so if your opponent somehow manages to withstand Exodia’s onslaught, an even stronger Exodia awaits them on the next turn! Thanks to its mastery of ancient powers, this new Fusion Exodia can cancel 1 Spell or 1 Trap activation of your choice for free every turn, AND it also provides YOU with a Spell or Trap card related to Exodia from your deck for free every turn.
In ancient Egypt, the pharaoh and his priests fought to defeat their enemies with the help of spiritual monsters they summoned from large stone tablets! The Infinite Forbidden introduces a new theme that focuses on this method of combat: First, you place your “Tablet Monster” on the field as a Spell Card. Then, you infuse it with your life force (or Life Points, in this case) to Special Summon the card to the field as a monster. Each of these Summons is a Special Summon, so you can save your Normal Summon for something else!
If it’s not your style to spend your Life Points to summon these monsters, there’s now a special new Spell Card to give you a little Millennium Magic—just show it in your hand, and you won’t need to spend any Life Points to summon the monsters from their stones! And since you don’t lose it when you show it, you can do this over and over again. This spell is also extremely important, as it can be used to summon the “Exodia” Fusion Monster!
The Infinite Forbidden includes a total of 100 new cards for a wide variety of strategies, both new and old, including a brand-new world-premiere theme! The 25th-anniversary celebration continues with 25 Quarter Century Secret Rares, including 1 special card.
The Core Booster Set from The Infinite Forbidden looks like this:
- 10 Secret Rares
- 14 Ultra Rares
- 26 Super Rares
- 50 Commons
(24 of these cards are also available as Quarter Century Secret Rares, and 1 special card is available ONLY as a Quarter Century Secret Rare!)
