Two immortal troublemakers, a lucrative mission, and a guaranteed lack of peaceful cooperation! Are Deadpool and Wolverine actually best enemies or worst friends? This question probably preoccupies not only Marvel fans, but also any therapist who’s ever had the misfortune of welcoming one of them onto their couch. When Wade Wilson travels to the notorious Madripoor for a promising mission, he senses quick cash and plenty of trouble. What he didn’t sign up for, though, is a grumpy Canadian with adamantium claws who meddles in his affairs without being asked.
Of course, it doesn’t take long before sparks fly between the two. Literally! While Wolverine prefers to argue with his claws and Deadpool can’t keep his mouth shut even in the midst of total chaos, not only are their nerves pushed to the limit, but so are their legendary healing factors. Bones break, body parts fly, and somewhere in the middle of it all, Wade is probably still trying to squeeze in a halfway decent joke. It’s not exactly romantic—but with these two, even a hug would probably be life-threatening anyway.
Deadpool 20 marks the grand finale of the series and wraps things up with a complete story featuring two of Marvel’s most beloved antiheroes. Get ready for nonstop action, pitch-black humor, and a friendship that consists mainly of mutual assassination attempts.
