What happens when Deadpool finally has enough? That’s right: the entire Marvel Universe is in for a pretty serious problem! Wade Wilson has never been known for his mental stability. Between wild soliloquies, questionable decisions, and his decidedly laid-back attitude toward violence, the loud-mouthed mercenary is considered a walking time bomb anyway. When the X-Men decide to have him committed to a psychiatric facility, it seems like a reasonable idea at first. At least until Deadpool comes to a terrifying realization: He’s not the crazy one—everyone else is! And because Wade is, well, Wade, he decides on the spot to rid all the costumed heroes and villains of their supposed misery. Once and for all. With a whole lot of gunfire.
What follows is a bloody rampage through the Marvel Universe, in which neither legendary superheroes nor powerful villains are safe. But Deadpool wouldn’t be Deadpool if he were content with just one reality. Soon, alternative worlds and cosmic powers also find themselves in the crosshairs of the completely unbridled antihero. And as Wade puts his very own brand of problem-solving into action, it becomes clear once again why you shouldn’t mess with someone who has nearly inexhaustible healing powers, a massive arsenal of weapons, and absolutely no respect for the fourth wall. Especially not when he suddenly decides that the entire comic book world needs a major overhaul. With a chainsaw.
Deadpool Destroys the Marvel Universe – The Complete Collection brings together Deadpool’s infamous three-act campaign of destruction for the first time in one magnificent volume. Get ready for pitch-black humor, relentless action, plenty of meta-madness, and a Deadpool who truly knows no bounds. A wonderfully wacky highlight for Marvel fans and anyone who’s always wanted to know what happens when the universe’s biggest troublemaker finally loses control. Because normally, superheroes save the world. Deadpool has apparently misunderstood something very fundamental!
