Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Even as a child, Laura Kinney was molded into the perfect weapon. Trained, manipulated, and turned into a killer—but those days are now behind her. Today, she no longer fights as a tool for others, but as a protector of those who have themselves become targets. She especially protects mutants who are being exploited by unscrupulous groups for sinister purposes.
An urgent distress call first takes Laura to Dubai, where she follows a dangerous trail. But no sooner has she arrived than she receives another call for help that takes her back to the United States. Her investigation leads her straight to the radical organization Humanity First!, whose fanatical members are planning a devastating attack. Their goal: a human bomb set to detonate in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen. Laura must act quickly—because if she doesn’t stop the extremists in time, a catastrophe looms.
The action-packed premiere of a new series in which Laura Kinney proves once again that she is much more than the weapon she was once made to be—featuring prominent guest stars such as Elektra and Bucky Barnes.
A special highlight for collectors: This comic is being released as an exclusive variant cover and is strictly limited to only 222 copies—a rare collector’s item for fans and variant cover hunters.
