Marvel Events: Secret Wars

The Marvel Multiverse is falling apart. And as if that weren’t bad enough, Doctor Doom, of all people, is taking over! For weeks, Earth’s mightiest heroes have been helplessly watching as so-called incursions wipe out one reality after another. Entire universes are colliding, worlds are shattering, and not even the Avengers can prevent the impending catastrophe. When the Ultimate Universe finally launches its attack as well, the end seems to be definitively sealed. Well, it was nice while it lasted, Multiverse!

But from the ruins of these shattered realities, something entirely new emerges: a bizarre world pieced together from the remnants of various universes. And who reigns supreme over this cosmic patchwork? Doctor Doom, of course, who unhesitatingly proclaims himself a god and brings his very own vision of a perfect world to life. Democracy? Not a chance. Separation of powers? Unnecessary. On Battleworld, there is only one law: Let Doom’s will be done! Anyone who has a problem with that can presumably file a complaint directly with the almighty ruler. Good luck with that.

Marvel Events – Secret Wars is one of the most monumental comic book events in Marvel history, combining cosmic catastrophes, legendary superheroes, and one of the most megalomaniacal villains of all time. An epic story about the end of all things and an equally spectacular new beginning. An absolute must-read for Marvel fans and the comic book source material for the upcoming 2027 Avengers movie! Because when Doctor Doom plays God, even the end of the world is just the beginning.
