Panini Pocket: Star Wars - Thrawn: Alliances

Two of the Empire’s most dangerous minds. A shared mission. And plenty of mutual distrust.

What happens when the brilliant strategist Grand Admiral Thrawn and the feared Sith Lord Darth Vader are forced to work together? An explosive alliance that will test the nerves of more than just their enemies!

When Emperor Palpatine senses a mysterious disturbance in the Force, he tasks his two most powerful servants with getting to the bottom of it. The problem? Thrawn and Vader are anything but friends. Both are vying for the Emperor’s favor, pursuing their own interests, and have little faith in each other’s abilities.

But their shared history goes back further than it first appears.

Years earlier, Thrawn had already encountered the young Anakin Skywalker when the two set out in search of Padmé Amidala. While the current mission brings dangerous secrets to light, flashbacks reveal how this unusual connection began.

Amid tactical genius, dark forces, and political intrigue, a story unfolds in which even the most powerful figures in the galaxy must learn to set aside their differences—at least for a time.

Here's what to expect:
