Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
As a nine-year-old boy, Shingo Shimazaki is brutally torn from his former life: a plane hijacking by the terrorist organization LEL makes him not only a victim but also a pawn. Over the following decades, the organization molds him into a highly trained secret agent and elite soldier—his daily life consists of deadly missions, deployments to crisis zones around the world, and a life in the shadows.
But after 30 years, the unimaginable happens: Shingo escapes. And suddenly he finds himself in Japan, a country that has continued to evolve while he was stuck in the war—a foreign homeland, full of technology, order, and a peace he can hardly comprehend.
Will this man, who knows nothing but battle, find his place in society? Or will the shadows of the past catch up with him?
An atmospheric manga that blends elements of a spy thriller, military action, trauma recovery, and slice-of-life, combining psychological depth with a gripping story.
Perfect for fans of Psycho-Pass, Eden: It's an Endless World, Jin-Roh, or realistic seinen series with depth.
