Speedpaint Marker - Fire Drake

Dark dragon power instead of bright flames—for miniatures with a truly menacing appearance!

With The Army Painter’s Speedpaint Marker Fire Drake, you can give your miniatures a dark, intense hue with a fiery character. The bold, somewhat somber color effect is ideal for mighty dragons, demonic creatures, menacing armor, and fantasy monsters designed to make an impression on the battlefield.

Whether it’s the scales of an ancient fire dragon, the hide of a hellish beast, or the embellishments on sinister battle armor—Fire Drake adds striking pops of color without appearing garish or overly bright.

This handy marker features the popular Speedpaint 2.0 formula, which automatically creates shading and highlights with just one coat of paint. The paint pools in recesses and makes raised details appear lighter. This creates a striking sense of depth, especially on textured surfaces such as dragon scales, armor elements, and skin folds.

Thanks to the handy marker format, painting miniatures is especially easy. No brush, no water cup, and no major preparation—just pick up the marker and get creative. Whether you’re relaxing on the couch, enjoying a tabletop gaming night with friends, or taking a quick break to paint, your hobby is always with you.
