Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
New Number One—A New Era for Spider-Man!
Peter Parker finds himself at yet another turning point in his life. While searching for a new job in science, he tries to bring structure back into his daily life—but as is so often the case, his life as Spider-Man gets in the way. An unexpected reunion with an old childhood friend raises questions, while at the same time a familiar supervillain wreaks havoc: Rhino goes on a rampage, and Spidey has to give it his all to bring the situation under control.
This marks the start of a fast-paced new Spider-Man saga penned by cult author Joe Kelly, supported by the outstanding artists Pepe Larraz and John Romita Jr.—a creative dream team that breathes new life into the web-slinger and ushers in the next major phase in Peter Parker’s life.
Especially exciting for collectors: This comic is being released as an exclusive variant cover for Comic Con Stuttgart 2025 and is strictly limited to just 444 copies. A true highlight for Spider-Man fans and variant cover hunters—and definitely a piece of Marvel history that no collection should be without.
