Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Some people build a vacation home by the sea. Darth Vader prefers a lava planet with a traumatic past. The Dark Lord of the Sith returns to Mustafar—of all places, the very spot where Anakin Skywalker once lost a duel against Obi-Wan Kenobi and was subsequently transformed into Darth Vader by the Emperor. A place full of painful memories, glowing lava, and the worst vacation reviews imaginable.
But Vader didn’t come to lick his old wounds. He has big plans: he wants his own fortress! Not just anywhere, of course, but right where his former life came to a rather unpleasant end. It’s just too bad that the residents of Mustafar are anything but thrilled about his ambitious construction project. But who needs a building permit when you’ve mastered the dark side of the Force?
As a special bonus, this fifth volume of the Darth Vader Deluxe series includes nine additional short stories, colored exclusively in black, white, and red. Dark, uncompromising, and visually stunning—just the way the Dark Lord likes it. A true gem for Star Wars fans and collectors who want to experience Darth Vader at his darkest.
