Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Sometimes it takes just one person to turn a rather bleak world back into a place full of hope.
Uichi used to be popular, had friends, and a future full of possibilities. But one day, his life changed abruptly. Hardly anything remains of his former happiness.
What keeps him going anyway? A promise he made to his first great love, Yotsuha, who moved away when they were still in elementary school: One day, he’ll become a veterinarian!
But just as even this last glimmer of hope threatens to fade, someone he never would have expected suddenly stands before him: Yotsuha is back!
And sometimes, all it takes is a reunion to turn a life completely upside down. But does that automatically mean everything will be all right again? Unfortunately, fate rarely makes it that easy for us.
Volume 1 of *You Are a Four-Leaf Clover* tells a touching story about first love, shattered dreams, and the hope for a fresh start.
Our top pick for anyone who knows that finding a four-leaf clover is rare—and finding someone who restores your hope is even rarer.
