Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Kosei has only just learned to face his past. But life has apparently decided to throw the next challenge his way right away.
The gala concert at Towa Hall was a huge step forward for Kosei Arima. Alone on stage, confronted with painful memories of his mother, he achieved something that had long seemed impossible: he overcame his fears and played the piano wholeheartedly once again.
A moment he could be proud of. Perhaps even the beginning of a new chapter.
But then he learns why Kaori didn’t show up for the concert.
The young violinist is in the hospital.
Kaori, of all people—the one who, with her boundless zest for life and her love of music, brought light back into Kosei’s gray world. The one who constantly encourages him to push past his limits.
Suddenly, the joy of his successful performance is forgotten. Instead, memories return that Kosei knows all too well. The fear of losing a loved one runs deep—and threatens to throw him off track once again.
Can he hold onto the strength he found on stage even outside the world of music?
*Your Lie in April* Volume 8 continues the moving romance and music manga series with a particularly emotional twist. A story about the fear of loss, friendship, first love, and the question of how to move forward when life suddenly falls out of rhythm again.
Kosei has finally learned to rediscover his own voice. Now he must figure out how to hold on to hope when the right words elude him.
A manga that begins quietly yet still strikes right at the heart.
