Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Sometimes words just fail you. Fortunately, there are 88 piano keys that have quite a lot to say.
For Kosei Arima, the world seems to have fallen out of sync once again. Kaori is still in the hospital and won’t be returning for the second semester. Her fragile health brings back painful memories of his late mother.
Kosei had only just begun to put his past behind him. But now the fear of another loss threatens to catch up with him once again.
While Kosei struggles with his emotions, Nagi also has her own worries.
Her brother Takeshi is in the midst of a deep creative crisis as a musician. Of all people, the passionate pianist—who usually pursues his path with such determination—seems to have lost his joy in music.
Nagi desperately wants to help him. But how do you get someone to play again when they’ve lost their own drive?
Perhaps by setting an example herself.
When Kosei and Nagi take the stage together at the school festival, something special happens: a duet that expresses far more than just the notes on the page. Two different personalities, two musical voices, and a melody that belongs entirely to them.
*Your Lie in April* Volume 9 combines moving moments with the power of music and tells a story of fears of loss, sibling love, friendship, and the courage to keep going despite all uncertainties.
Because sometimes, you don’t need a big competition or a perfect performance. Just two people playing together—and perhaps, in doing so, touching exactly the right hearts.
