The Detective Comics issues for the Fear State! event
The monstrous parasite Vile is running rampant in Gotham, turning ordinary citizens into bloodthirsty beasts. And even the Dark Knight has been infected!
The filthy-rich and ruthless businessman Mr. Worth blames Batman for his daughter’s death. To take revenge on him, he doesn’t hesitate to team up with the Penguin, one of Batman’s oldest enemies and the king of Gotham City’s underworld. Together with the criminal group Party Crasher and the Falcone crime family, they form “The Jury,” which sentences the Dark Knight to death.
But Batman has a completely different problem: the monstrous parasite Vile is turning ordinary citizens into bloodthirsty beasts. And Batman gets infected, too!
