Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Troubled times call for radiant heroes
Once upon a time, a terrible nuclear war ravaged our planet. In the years following this nuclear catastrophe, desperate outlaws now fight for survival in a world of radioactive chaos. Beyond this poisoned wasteland lives a man who strikes fear into the hearts of the villains of the apocalypse. His name... is Geiger.
These pages reveal Geiger’s tragic origins: from his life before the war to his fateful encounter with Dr. Molotov, who had been sentenced to death. Whether it’s a confrontation with the ominous King of Las Vegas, ancient warriors who suddenly awaken and come after him, or the constant uncertainty of whether he’s facing a friend or a foe—Geiger’s life in the radioactive apocalypse is anything but boring!
Brace yourselves for some truly uncomfortable questions: How do you create a monster? Does a relic from the pre-war era hold renewed hope for humanity … or will it finish what the bombs started back then?
The critically acclaimed team of writer Geoff Johns (FLASH, SUPERMAN), artist Gary Frank (THE INCREDIBLE HULK, SUPERGIRL), and the incredibly talented colorist Brad Anderson present a brand-new, hit radioactive dystopian comic.
