Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
When even the strongest fighters have to resort to a technique that might kill them, you know the situation is officially screwed. And Commander Yamada has apparently decided to flirt with death twice today.
In Lili-Men Volume 04, the battle against the Muscle Faction finally escalates! Commander Yamada faces off against the powerful Vice General Rasetsu and is forced to deploy her most dangerous weapon: the Final Stage. An ultimate technique whose use is fatal for ordinary Martha officials. Commanders do have a higher chance of survival, but that makes the situation about as reassuring as a surgeon saying he’s seen this operation on YouTube before.
However, when Rasetsu proves to be more tenacious than expected, Yamada has no choice but to use the Final Stage a second time. And by now, at the very latest, what was already a life-threatening battle has turned into a rather personal encounter with the Grim Reaper.
Across 192 pages, Takuma Tokashiki once again delivers brutal action, grotesque opponents, and battles in which the limits of the human body aren’t merely exceeded—they’re trampled underfoot with a running start.
Using the same potentially lethal technique twice to take down a single opponent?
In other professions, a risk assessment would be conducted by now at the very latest, and the works council would be notified.
At Martha’s, you’d probably get a pat on the back and be sent off to your next shift.
