One Piece: The Unbreakable Law—Trafalgar Law & Corazon Ichibansho Figures, 11 cm

One Piece is a funny pirate anime, they said. It features talking reindeer, a rubber man, and all kinds of nonsense, they said. And then came the story of Trafalgar Law and Corazon. Thanks, Oda. Really. Thank you so much.

Trafalgar D. Water Law is now a feared pirate captain, a brilliant surgeon, and the proud owner of a facial expression that constantly screams, “I’m surrounded by complete idiots.” Which is perfectly understandable, given his occasional collaboration with Luffy.

But behind his cool facade lies a past that would break even the toughest pirate’s heart.

And right in the middle of it all: Donquixote Rosinante, better known as Corazon.

A clumsy, chain-smoking undercover Marine agent who regularly sets himself on fire, trips over his own feet, and acts about as inconspicuously as a sea king in a china shop.

Espionage was definitely not his strongest suit. His heart for the cause, however, was all the greater.

Because while the world had long since given up on Law, Corazon was willing to risk everything to save this small, angry boy. He gave him something Law had almost completely lost: hope, trust, and the feeling of being loved.

And then Oda decided to hit us emotionally with a sledgehammer.

With this beautiful Ichibansho statue set from Banpresto, you can bring both characters from One Piece home. The highly detailed PVC figures are approximately 11 and 13 cm tall and are part of The Unbreakable Law series.

A special collector’s item for everyone who loves Law’s story and knows that some bonds cannot be broken, even by death.

Trafalgar Law & Corazon: A grumpy little boy, a hopelessly clumsy protector, and one of the most beautiful, saddest relationships in all of One Piece.

And in case you’re wondering why we’re suddenly getting so sentimental over two little PVC figures:

“I love you, Law.”

So. Awesome.

Now we’re crying again. Damn you, Oda.
