Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.

A little prince. A huge dream. And the courage to go his own way!
What makes a truly great king? Physical strength? A mighty sword? An impressive kingdom? Or perhaps something you can neither see nor measure?
In *Ranking of Kings*, Sousuke Toka tells an extraordinary fantasy story about courage, friendship, prejudice, and the unshakable will to rise above oneself.
At the center of the story is a little prince whom hardly anyone believes in. But sometimes it’s precisely those who are underestimated by the world who have the biggest hearts.
With the Ranking of Kings Starter Pack, you’ll get the first two volumes of the popular manga series in an affordable bundle—the perfect introduction to this touching story, which is also a hit as an anime on Crunchyroll.
A Prince No One Believes In
King Bosse is an impressive figure. Huge, incredibly strong, and a ruler who ranks among the very top of the list of the most powerful kings.
His firstborn son, Bojji, on the other hand, could hardly be more different.
The little prince is deaf, cannot speak, and doesn’t come close to his father’s physical strength. Even a simple children’s sword poses a challenge for him.
For the people at the royal court, it therefore seems to have long been a foregone conclusion that Bojji could never be a worthy successor to his father.
They mock him, doubt his abilities, and deny that he has what it takes to be king.
But Bojji has a dream that he won’t let anyone take away from him:
He wants to become the greatest king of all time!
Even though no one believes in him, he won’t let anything deter him from his goal. Behind his apparent weakness lies remarkable courage—and a heart that is bigger than many realize.
One day, on one of his excursions, Bojji encounters the mysterious shadow creature Kage.
At first glance, the two could hardly be more different. And yet an unexpected bond forms between them.
For Kage seems to understand Bojji in a way that few others can.
From this unusual encounter, a friendship develops that could change the young prince’s life forever.
Together, the two embark on an adventure full of challenges, dangers, and discoveries.
And perhaps Bojji has already come a little closer to his big dream.

True greatness isn’t measured in centimeters
At first glance, *Ranking of Kings* may seem like a simple fantasy fairy tale. But behind the charming art style lies a multi-layered story about prejudice, expectations, personal strength, and the meaning of true friendship.
Bojji is not your typical fantasy hero. He possesses neither overwhelming powers nor a special talent for swordfighting. And yet, time and again, he proves that courage doesn’t mean being fearless—it means pressing on despite all doubts.
It’s precisely this blend of heartwarming moments, emotional character development, and thrilling fantasy adventures that makes the series so special.
The Ranking of Kings Starter Pack is ideal for fans of fantasy, adventure, and coming-of-age manga who appreciate stories with heart, depth, and lovable underdogs.
The first two volumes kick off a journey that shows that it’s not always the strongest who makes the biggest difference.
After all, a truly great king doesn’t necessarily need the most powerful sword. Sometimes all it takes is an unshakable will, a loyal friend—and a heart that never gives up.
