Other brothers fight over the inheritance. The Toguro brothers have decided to embark on a career together as walking nightmares. After all, family unity is important.
The Toguro brothers from Yu Yu Hakusho are among the most notorious opponents in the Dark Tournament. And while the younger Toguro can transform his body into a muscle-bound shell of flesh, his older brother has a far more unsettling ability: he can contort his body at will.
One is a walking gym. The other looks like a medical experiment in which every ethics committee resigned at the same time.
Particularly charming: The older Toguro likes to sit on his younger brother’s shoulder.
Other people have a parrot. Toguro has a psychopathic brother as a shoulder accessory.
In the Dark Tournament, the two push Yusuke Urameshi and his friends to their limits. The younger Toguro, in particular, uses his monstrous strength to create battles so intense that even the spectators might find themselves wondering if life insurance wouldn’t have been a good idea after all.
With this approximately 26 cm tall PVC statue from Banpresto’s Ichibansho series, you can add the infamous brother duo from the Dark Tournament Edition Vol. 2 to your collection.
An impressive collector’s item for all fans of Yu Yu Hakusho who like their anime villains with plenty of muscle mass and a healthy dose of madness.
The Toguro Brothers: 26 centimeters of concentrated family drama, zero empathy, and a workout regimen that probably violates the Geneva Convention.
Younger Toguro: “I’m fighting at 80 percent of my strength.”
Yusuke: “WHAT?!”
Older Toguro: “Brother, I’m still sitting on your shoulder.”
Younger Toguro: “Then I’ll go all out.”
And somewhere in the audience, a demon decides that accounting might have been the safer career path after all.
