Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
Intense, brutal, and emotionally relentless—Banana Fish takes no prisoners.
The cruelty Ash Lynx endured at the hands of Dino Golzine and Arthur has left deep scars. Severely scarred both physically and emotionally, Ash tries to get back on his feet. But anyone who thinks he’s giving up has vastly underestimated the young leader of the New York street gang.
While Ash licks his wounds, his resolve to strike back is already growing. The conflict continues to escalate, and the dangerous web of organized crime, power, violence, betrayal, and the mystery surrounding Banana Fish is closing in ever tighter.
Amidst it all, the special bond between Ash and Eiji remains one of the story’s emotional anchors—a glimmer of trust and humanity in a world where both have become incredibly rare.
*Banana Fish – Ultimate Edition Volume 04* continues Akimi Yoshida’s legendary manga thriller in a high-quality edition. A story that effortlessly navigates the genres of crime thriller, action, drama, and coming-of-age—and has long since made manga history for good reason.
The Ultimate Edition presents this cult manga in a generous oversize format with a dust jacket—perfect for newcomers as well as fans who want to collect Ash and Eiji’s story in a particularly beautiful edition.
The cult manga series and source material for the anime series of the same name.
