Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
An exclusive Batman anthology for Batman Day 2025—only for true Batman fans!
This special edition brings together some of the greatest creative legends of comics in a single volume that reveals entirely new sides of Gotham’s Dark Knight.
The series kicks off with an epic, extra-long story by none other than Frank Quitely, whose masterful artwork takes Batman and Alfred to Scotland. There, they encounter ancient curses, dark secrets, and a foe who lurks in the mist.
But that's just the beginning:
Kevin Smith, cult director and acclaimed writer, teams up with Jim Lee—and together they reveal a secret about how Batman actually protects his own heart. An intimate, surprising story that will amaze even the most seasoned fans.
Then Mike Mignola, creator of Hellboy, delves deep into the Shadow Crypt and sends the Midnight Detective into a confrontation with true cemetery horror. Dark. Menacing. Unforgettable.
The anthology is rounded out by a special highlight:
The Diary of Alfred Pennyworth, which sheds light on all facets of Batman’s character—from the masked avenger to the man whom only Alfred truly knows.
In short: A unique collection brimming with atmosphere, goosebumps, and emotional depth—a true tribute to the Dark Knight.
