Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
A piece of manga history—and a volume that holds special significance within the Berserk series.
Ever since Kentaro Miura drew the first pages of Berserk in the late 1980s, the story of Guts has evolved into one of the most influential works in manga history. Monumental artwork, uncompromising dark fantasy, and characters whose scars extend far beyond the visible have made the series an exceptional phenomenon for decades.
In Volume 41, Guts and his companions find themselves on Elfhelm, where, after their long and dangerous journey, a little peace finally seems to be setting in. Kjaskar, in particular, takes center stage: her sanity has been restored, but the traumatic events of her past cannot simply be erased.
Meanwhile, the mysterious Moonlight Boy also returns to the forefront—and with him, a connection whose significance extends far beyond the seemingly peaceful events on the elven island.
But Volume 41 is extraordinary for more than just its story.
It is the last volume of *Berserk* created entirely by Kentaro Miura before his death in 2021, making it an emotional milestone within the series. Its final chapters once again impressively showcase the incredible attention to detail, atmosphere, and narrative power with which Miura shaped the world of *Berserk* over more than three decades.
However, Guts’ story does not end here: Berserk will subsequently be continued by Studio Gaga under the direction of Kouji Mori, based on Miura’s remaining plans and discussions.
For fans of dark fantasy, horror, action, and sophisticated manga epics, Volume 41 is thus far more than just the next volume on the shelf.
It is Kentaro Miura’s final personal farewell from the world of Berserk.
