Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
The devil that lurks within us all …
Eddie is born a child prodigy. From an early age, he outgrows a world that either ignores or torments him, and assumes not just one, but two new identities. In public, his name is on everyone’s lips. In the highest circles, he is celebrated as Hunter Rose, a brilliant young author, but the horror that makes the underworld tremble whispers another name: Grendel.
Grendel, an assassin and criminal mastermind, is a force of nature. He is the vengeful spirit that haunts a society that appears to have grown numb and weary of its own lust for violence.
The kickoff to the series by visionary artist Matt Wagner, which will soon be adapted into a Netflix series. This first BEST OF GRENDEL volume brings together a selection of stories from the Hunter Rose cycle, which traces Grendel’s origins and legacy and sheds a little light on his dark past. A devilish delight for longtime fans and new enthusiasts alike.
Netflix Original Series "Grendle" Coming Late August 2022!
