Whether you’re already an experienced duelist or fighting for supremacy in Cardia for the first time—the familiar basic rules make it easy to get started, while the new game mechanics offer additional tactical challenges.

Two new factions—two paths to victory!

The Archipelago’s seafarers are closely connected to the forces of the sea. Their ships sail to mysterious islands, whose unique advantages you can skillfully use to your strategic advantage. Choosing the right destinations can have a decisive impact on the outcome of a duel.

The Expedition, on the other hand, is a nomadic community of curious explorers who have learned to harness the power of the wind. With the help of magical vials, its members unleash extraordinary powers, opening up entirely new tactical possibilities.

Both factions bring their own abilities and gameplay strategies to the table, presenting even experienced Cardia players with new challenges.

Great influence or powerful ability? You decide!

In Cardia, two or four players compete against each other using identical decks of 16 cards each. In each round, cards are played and compared with one another.

A particularly ingenious game mechanic creates exciting decisions: The card with the higher influence receives a seal—but only the card with the lower influence activates its special ability!

So, whoever plays the stronger card wins the round initially, but forgoes the potentially game-deciding effect of their card.

Cards that have already been played remain on the table and can still be affected by later abilities. Even a seemingly certain victory can suddenly be thrown into doubt as a result!

The first player to collect five seals on their cards wins the duel. But be careful: Seals can change hands during the course of the game. A clever move can therefore completely turn the balance of power on its head.

Can be played on its own or combined with other games!

Cardia: Flood & Storm includes two new decks and can be played entirely without the base game. Players who already own Duel for Cardia can also combine the new content with their existing game to discover additional strategic possibilities.
