Our comics, manga, and books are standard retail items and—unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific item—are not sold as flawless collector’s items or graded copies.
All items from our online store are also part of our in-store selection. They are typically displayed unboxed on the shelves so that our customers can view and browse through them. If there are multiple copies of a title available, some of them may still be in their original packaging or shrink-wrapped.
Comics and books, in particular, sometimes arrive with minor signs of wear resulting from production, shipping, or storage—such as fine scratches, creases, or slight visual imperfections. Unfortunately, we have no control over this. Over time, additional minor wear may also occur due to display in the store.
If you place particular importance on the item being in the best possible condition or in its original packaging, please contact us before placing your order. We’ll be happy to take a closer look at the item you’re interested in and can send you photos in advance if needed.
Of course, statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this.
The Katana Man is out of the picture, Denji is still alive, and for a brief moment, something resembling peace might actually set in. Of course, Chainsaw Man can’t keep this up for much longer than a chainsaw can run without gas.
After the brutal battles of the previous volumes, a bit of everyday life returns for Denji. And then he meets Reze—a girl who works at a café and who he likes right away.
An unusually carefree closeness quickly develops between the two. Reze spends time with Denji, teaches him things he’s been denied in his life so far, and makes him think about what his life might actually look like if he weren’t a government-sanctioned Devil Hunter.
For a boy whose romantic experience so far has mainly consisted of idolizing Makima and making bad decisions, that’s complicated enough.
But of course, this wouldn’t be *Chainsaw Man* if there were nothing more behind a pretty smile than just a pretty smile. Just as Denji begins to develop feelings for Reze, the next threat is already looming in the background—and his heart is a coveted target in more ways than one.
Chainsaw Man 05 strikes a surprisingly romantic note at first and opens a new chapter in Denji’s life with Reze. Amid first dates, intense emotions, and the series’ trademark brutal demon action, Tatsuki Fujimoto shows once again that even the most beautiful moments in this series can explode spectacularly at any moment.
