When Denji’s life threatens to come to a brutal end, Pochita saves his friend and fuses with him. From that moment on, Denji can transform into the Chainsaw Man—a human-devil hybrid with running chainsaws on his head and arms.
His extraordinary abilities don’t go unnoticed for long. Under the watchful eye of the mysterious Makima, Denji begins working for the government’s demon-hunting organization. Together with Aki, Power, and numerous other colleagues—some more sane than others—he throws himself into one battle after another.
What begins as a delightfully wacky story about a chainsaw-wielding demon hunter evolves into a tale—as brutal as it is emotional—about friendship, loss, manipulation, freedom, and the desire to live one’s own life.
