Chessex Borealis Luminary Die Set – Kelp with Light Green Lettering (7-piece)

Deep beneath the ocean’s surface, where sunlight slowly fades and ancient secrets await discovery, one could easily imagine dice just like these.

The Chessex Borealis Kelp Luminary dice set brings the mysterious beauty of the underwater world right to your gaming table. Its shimmering, seaweed-inspired color scheme and bright green numbers give the seven dice an almost magical quality. Perfect for adventurers who’d rather explore sunken temples than sit quietly in the nearest tavern.

But the real secret is revealed only when the lights go out!

Thanks to Chessex’s special Luminary effect, the dice contain phosphorescent particles that charge up when exposed to light. In the dark, the tiny points of light resemble a sparkling starry sky—or perhaps mysterious sea creatures peering up from the depths. This effect is also particularly striking under UV-A black light.

Whether you’re playing Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or another pen-and-paper role-playing game—whether you’re recovering an ancient treasure, casting a dangerous spell, or trying to convince your group that the obviously cursed item is definitely harmless—these dice are ready for your next adventure.

Here’s what you can expect:

• 7 polyhedral dice from the Chessex Borealis Luminary series
• Kelp color variant with light green numbers
• Shimmering appearance with glow-in-the-dark Luminary particles
• A starry-sky-like glow effect after sufficient exposure to light or under black light
• Includes D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20, and a percentage die (D10 with increments of 10)
• Transparent storage box with lid
• Ideal for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, and numerous other role-playing games
• Dice manufactured in Germany; packaging manufactured in the U.S.

And what if your character absolutely insists on exploring a mysterious underwater cave on your next adventure, even though the Dungeon Master has already given you three suspicious smiles?

Well, at least you’ll have your own little stars with you when it gets pretty dark down there.
